The varsity boys soccer team played at North Polk last Monday, April 22. They took a tough loss, 1-0.

Coach Todd Sampson said, “Our game at North Polk was a game we were hoping to win.  We did not play as well as we expected, but we learned what we needed to improve on as the season continued.  We had opportunities to score, but just weren’t able to get the job done.”

Gage Maiefski had nine saves on the day.

The team’s next game is Monday, May 13, at home against Bondurant-Farrar.
