The varsity girls golf team placed fourth on Monday, April 22nd, at Veenker Golf Course in Ames.

This meet at Veenker was played with very tough and good quality teams, several that were from 4A schools. In the end Nevada was within ten strokes of first place which is great considering the tough competition

“This meet was a very tough one, considering the rain and cold. But, all in all, we had a decent result on a tough day and a tough course,” said Coach Mike Lawler.

Emma Griffin and Kelby Rewerts tied with a 96 and 12th place individually. The Cubs next meet is the conference meet on Wednesday, May 1.
