On Friday, December 7, Nevada’s varsity girls basketball team won a close battle against South Hamilton, 45-44, at home.
Kacie Rewerts was Nevada’s leading scorer and rebounder for the night with a total of 19 points and eight rebounds. Close behind was Addisyn Vorm with a total of ten points for the team.
Head Coach Jordan Bentley said, “We did a great job of sharing the basketball and played great as a team and to come out with a victory in a very close game.”
Bentley was proud of the team’s defense and thought they did a nice job of rebounding.
Nevada’s next home game will be on Friday, December 14, against PCM.
