On Tuesday night, December 3, the JV boys basketball team lost a close game to Iowa Falls-Alden, 47-57.

“The kids played a hard fought battle, but need to execute better on offense and defense,” said Coach Greg Baethke. “However, I did see moments of greatness from the boys in the game.”

Offense was really good for the Cubs, going 10/15 from the free throw line.

“It was one of the best free throw games we have had in awhile,” said Coach Baethke.

Some of the leading scorers in the game were Henry Nelson with 16 pts, and Chase Lycke with six points. Myleek Wilkerson had eight rebounds, and Henry Nelson pulled down nine boards. The team as a whole had 10 offensive rebounds and 25 defensive rebounds. Caden Jones had a great night in the steals column with three.

With the Cubs losing a close one to the Cadets, they look to win on the road tonight facing Saydel, at 4:30 PM.
