On May 21 the Girls soccer team played at Iowa City Regina. The Cubs won 2-1 in penalty kicks.
Hannah Thompson scored one goal during the game off of an assist from Hattie Rhodes and also had one penalty kick, Grace Francis scored the other penalty kick.
Grace Francis had seven saves during the game. She came up big in the shootout and had three saves during the penalty kicks
Coach Davis said, “We played good team defense for the game. Our one break down came on a girl coming at us full speed and letting her get past our last defender.”
The JV team won their game 2-0.
