The boys track team had their district meet at home on May 10th. The meet was overall successful with nine events qualifying for state, but it could have gone better. In the shuttle hurdle relay, for example, one of the runners got hurt and could not finish; therefore, the team did not advance to state which they were expected to. The 4×100 relay team also dropped the baton and did not advance to state.

“This meet did go well though, as we had several season bests,” said Head Coach John Pelzer.  “Overall, I am extremely proud of all of our competitors and am looking forward to the state meet!”

Here are the results (state meet qualifiers are bold):

1st – Sprint Medley Relay (1:34.11)

1st – 4×200 Meter Relay (1:30.55)
