4.26 Girls Track at Carlisle

The Nevada Girls Track Team ran at Carlisle on Thursday, April 26th. The Cubs placed 6th out of 12 teams, scoring 52 points

Kacie Rewerts placed first in the 3000 with a time of 11:06.77.

There were many personal bests at the Carlisle meet. The sprint med team of Emily Plate, Sam Sharp, Caitlyn Sharp, and Sydney Mosinski had a PR with a time of 2:00.00, placing 4th.  Eliana Hornbuckle had a personal best in the 3000 with a time of 12:13.75, placing 4th. Megan Gilchrist had a personal best in the 1500 with a time of 6:22.19. Taylor Conrad had a personal best in the 100 hurdles with a time of 21.63 and personal best in the long jump with a jump of 13-01.

Jaylyn Schakel had a personal best in the 100 hurdles with a time of 21.82. Sydney Mosinski placed 3rd in the open 200 with a personal best of 27.95. Caitlyn Sharp had a personal best in the open 200 with a time of 28.33. Maryam Almeftah had a personal best in the open 800 with a time of 3:16.44.

We need to keep working hard these next two weeks to get us prepared for districts,” said Coach Ted Johnson. “There is still a lot work we can get done to improve our times, throws and jumps.”
