On Thursday, April 26, the Nevada boys soccer team played at Collins-Maxwell, and crushed them 5-1.

There was 17 shots, 10 shots on goal, five goals, five assists, four corners, 11 saves, and one goal for the Cubs

Taylor Maiefski and Anthony Ellis each scored two goals in the game.

“We played very well in the first half,” said Coach Todd Sampson. “We passed the ball well, communicated well, and capitalized on the scoring opportunities we had.  The second half we played a little tentative, but were able to handle their attack. I thought it was a good learning experience for the group.”
