Ryan Brown is the head boys varsity golf coach at Nevada High School. He has coached since 2005 among different schools. He has also coached other sports, including football at NHS and in San Jose, California, tennis in Ames, and badminton and girls soccer in San Jose. He currently is teaching Integrated Science 1, Biology, Honors Chemistry, and Chemistry at Nevada High School.

Coach Brown often plays golf as a hobby, and enjoys the sport.

Coach Brown coaches because it is an opportunity to support the kids at Nevada. He really enjoys the group he gets to work with and likes how the group is disciplined and works hard to get better

Some goals for the season for the team and Coach Brown are to qualify for state, to compete, and to develop mature, responsible, respectable young men that represent our school and their families well.

Coach Brown wants to focus on the little things this season: to double down on effort, be successful the right way, realize potential and quality, to work as a team, and overall success as a team.
