On February 10, the Nevada Cubs won 58-26 in the first round regional basketball game against Saydel.
“I thought we played really well. Our defensive effort was great, and we did a good job making the extra pass on offense,” said Coach Neubauer. “Lexy had a nice night. Hattie did a lot of things well, like usual, and Amanda and Kacie did a great job on the defensive end. We need to keep working on shooting the basketball and taking better care of the basketball.”
Lexy Koudelka had an incredible 34 points in the game. Following behind Lexy were Kacie Rewerts and Hattie Rhodes who both had eight points.
