JV Girls Basketball vs Roland Story

On Friday, December 15th, the Nevada Cubs JV Girls Basketball team took on the Roland Story Norsemen, and it was a nail biter.

The Cubs lost 30-33 but played a good game until the end. They only scored 3 points in the fourth quarter which was a major factor in the ending of the game.

The leading scorer for the Cubs were freshman Addisyn Vorm and sophomore Meredith Harter who each had 9 points. Sophomore Amelea Jones had 7 points to add to the scoring.

The team finished 3-7 from the free throw line and only connected on one three for the night, while Roland Story was 9-11 from the charity stripe. The Cubs played a great game overall, but just came up short. Their next game is Saturday, December 16th against the Ballard Bombers.
