On Thursday, December 7, The Nevada Middle School wrestling team had a tournament at Nevada High School. The team had a slow start, losing 5 of our first 6 matches, but rebounded to post a winning record on the evening. The team emphasized the bottom position in practice since our meet on November 30. Coach Corbin and Coach Pelzer were both pleased with the progress in that area. They continue to improve in all phases of wrestling.

The stand out for Coach Pelzer was Emanuel Rico. He won his first match of the year, and Coach Pelzer was proud that his hard work paid off.

Meet results:  Drew Robinson 2-0, Nate Dumbaugh 1-1, Conner Barfels lost 2,  Dallas Stanley lost 3, Edgar Cabrera 1-1, Cade Knopp 0-3, Nolan Dewell 1-1, Caleb Kooiker won by DQ, Gavin Melohn 1-0, Nate Anderson 2-1 ,Tom Ball  2-0, Holden Fry 2-0, Emanuel Rico 1-1, Camdan Vincent 2-0
