The 7th Grade Boys hosted North Polk on January 24 for a triple header. The A Team revenged an early season eight-point overtime lose to North Polk by winning 35-30. The Cubs executed their full court pressure in the first quarter to jump out to a 18-4 advantage. The leading scores for the A-Team was Conner Schnettgoecke with 17 points and Colin Memmer and James Edwards with 6 points a piece. The A-Team's season record is 7-2.The B-Team lost a close match up by the score of 28-33. The Cubs leading scores were Logan Bullock and Spencer Grant with seven points. Tate Maier also chipped in six points. The B Team's record stands at 6-3 on the year.
The Cub C-Team's fastbreak and half-court offense lead them to a 25-9 victory over the Comets. Leading scorer for the C-Team Cubs was Brandon Sampson with 11 points. Caden DeSilva was the second leading scorer with eight ponts. Zach Stinn also contributed an exciting basket off the bench for the Cubs.
