The Nevada High School Cross Country team competed at South Hamilton on Thursday, October 5. The Nevada boys were missing some of their top runners, but that didn’t stop them from being successful. They finished in 5th place overall.

“Carter Franzen ran his best race so far.” says Coach Christianson. He finished in 14th pace overall, with a time of 17:42.

On the other hand, the girls cross country team placed 8th overall with Eliana Hornbuckle leading the team with an overall time of 22:11 placing 19th in the race. This meet was a great “tune-up meet” for the HOIAC race coming up.
