On Friday, June 1, the girls soccer team played their regional game at home against Creston. Nevada conquered Creston 10-0.
In the game, there were six assists, 19 shots on goal, and ten goals. Both J.J. Williamson and Maddie Stevens had two goals in the game.
Nevada won their regional game on Monday, June 4 and will advance to the state tournament this Thursday. The Cubs play the Iowa City Regina Royals at the Cownie Soccer complex at 11:45 on Thursday, June 7.
