The girls freshman team played North Polk on Wednesday, May 30. The Cubs played a great game, and fought hard, but fell 4-1.
Coach Corey Barloon said, “The Cubs played well, fielding strong and clean for most of the game.”
The team needs to continue to work on putting the ball in play to get runs scored.
The 9th Grade softball team plays on Thursday, June 7th vs Ankeny Centennial.
