The Nevada boys soccer team played ADM on Monday, April 30. The Cubs fought a hard game, but ended up losing 1-6.

Devin See scored the only goal for the Cubs. Brendan Sellberg also helped out the Cubs with an assist. Dennis Garcia played another great game in his center-back position.

“After reviewing the film I feel the score doesn’t reflect the same game that the score does,” said Coach Todd Sampson.  “We played pretty well for 75 of the 80 minutes and had quality opportunities to score but were unable to capitalize when we needed to.”

The goalie, Gage Maiefski helped the Cubs out with 13 saves.

The boys soccer team hopes to limit mistakes such as poor marking and staying in positions on the defensive side.

The Nevada boys soccer team have a home soccer tournament on May 5th.
